different eyes

Six photographers (Petra Rainer, Eva Kern, Theres Cassini, Peter Bosch, Matthias Herrmann,
Wolfgang Krammer) have each portrayed the same models in the same conditions:
same room, same lighting, same parameters. How do the images differ from each other?
Which part of the image represents the photographer? Which the model?
And why do we actually expect to see the same person six times in the photos when no pixel
is the same as any other? The pictures have deliberately been hung without text so that no
known or unknown names can influence the viewer’s perception. A catalogue revealing
details of the project, with comments by Gerhard Stemberger on the Psychology of Perception,
is available at the exhibition.
